About me
I'm a dive instructor at Sierra Diving Center in Reno, NV. I made my first dive in 1974 and have since logged over 3,500 dives. Only a few of those are logged here.

The vast majority of my dives have been in cold water off the California coast or in local mountain lakes like Lake Tahoe. Almost all of my cold water dives from around 1989 on have been in a drysuit.

I've been diving throughout the Caribbean, Florida, up and down the West coast of the US, Alaska, Hawaii and as far away as Okinawa, Japan.

A few places I hope to dive in the not too distant future are the Bikini Atoll, Yap & Palau, Midway and the Great Lakes, and many others.

I am always looking to make friends with divers from around the world.

I have a blog that I update when I find time: blog.joescuba.com
